With over 33 years experience as a solicitor, and 15 years as a mediator, Jonathan is well placed to take on mediation cases that require a highly skilled and personal approach. Jonathan has the ability to grasp the key issues of a case quickly, his vast experience and range of mediation cases that he has been involved with have given him the tact and robustness that leads to a satisfactory conclusion, enabling all parties to put the case behind them cost effectively.
Jonathan, a practising solicitor and partner with international law firm Ince & Co, one of the founder members of CEDR, is well known for the use of mediation in resolving cases. He has lectured widely and written numerous articles and books on the subject of mediation. Jonathan’s working career has been impressive. He has worked abroad in Hong Kong and Hamburg and is fluent in both French and German, a great advantage for cross-border mediation cases. The majority of his working career has been involved with mediation and arbitration in some form or other, in most cases with excellent results. He is well known for bringing a case to a successful conclusion when it had already been backwards and forwards to Court with no result. He is currently joint head of Ince & Co’s Arbitration and Mediation Group and is considered to be at the top of his profession.
