A significant proportion of
David’s mediations have been international disputes and many
disputes have involved parties from ethnic minority origins. Case
values range from £4,000 to £650 million.
He is very
experienced in multi-party mediations and where large numbers of
participants are involved. One of the few commercial mediators experienced
in comediation of complex disputes with an established pairing with
Presiley Baxendale QC.
David’s style is relaxed and informal
but he is also noted for tenacity and the ability to challenge. He
has been in construction for most of his life and ran his own chartered
quantity surveying practice. His past professional role in project
