Bill
Wood was appointed QC in 1999. His litigation practice centres on
insurance and reinsurance, aviation, professional negligence and
general commercial disputes. He is recommended for both insurance
and aviation work by each of the two main legal directories.
Bill
trained as a mediator in 1999 and is now an accredited CEDR mediator
and member of the CEDR faculty. He has a growing mediation practice
and at present mediates around fifty disputes each year. The majority
are insurance or reinsurance disputes. He has also dealt with a number
of disputes over rights to data in the sports world, company acquisition
disputes, professional negligence claims and disputes in the education
sector.
